　　“Xiangsheng” (相声) is a traditional style of Chinese stand-up comedy. There are usually two performers. They take turns telling witty jokes. Yet, a professionaltheater group, Comedians Workshop, took Xiangsheng to the next level by adding drama to its shows. Yi-Kang Feng (冯翊纲) and Shao-Ching Sung (宋少卿) formed this group when they were university students in 1988. Comedians Workshop started as a simple student production. Today, it performs more than 100 shows a year! Feng and Sung combine traditional and modern humor, making it relevant to today’s youth.
