前瞻科技 4 月 13 日消息,继昨天乐视 CEO 贾跃亭发表长微博批苹果“专制独裁”后,@乐视美国发表了该长微博的英文版。
贾跃亭转发了@乐视美国的英文版长微博,并评论说:
“Apple is inhibiting innovation, walking away from users and can no longer serve the next generation mobile Internet. Letv wants to change this. We believe our open, vertically integrated ecosystem marks the beginning of a new era. We can make it happen together.”
这段话正是昨天贾跃亭发表的长微博《#致苹果的一封信#下一代移动互联网不再需要专制者》中的一段话的英文版,翻译如下:
“苹果阻挡创新、远离用户,已经不再能够继续服务下一代移动互联网了。乐视想要做出改变。我们相信垂直一体化的生态系统标志着新的时代的开始,这个时代将由我们一起创造。”
贾跃亭此举或许是为了回应网友的质疑。在昨天贾跃亭发表长微博炮轰苹果后,网友几乎一面旗倒向了苹果。有网友就表示:
“2014 年 10 月 4 号之前,你用的是 iPhone 5s,2014 年 10 月 4 号之后,你用上了国内还没上市的 iPhone 6Plus,2015 年 2 月 18 号后,就改用 Android 手机,我想请问贾悦庭 (原文如此) 先生,如果你早就看出了 iOS 生态环境不好,各种诟病,那你怎么会去用 iPhone,国内 iPhone 6 还没上市你就已经用上了,如今指责苹果反人类,你要脸不?”
另外,罗永浩也躺枪:
“卧槽,比老罗还会吹,产品是检验你是否吹牛逼的唯一标准。”
“自从有了乐视手机,我觉得老罗还是比较靠谱的。”
话糙理不糙,乐视手机的质量将影响贾跃亭的这番话到底是炒作还是真功夫。而乐视将于明天 (4 月 14 日) 举行手机发布会,到时前瞻科技将与网友一起见证。

1984 年,一个自称是颠覆创新者的小公司向巨人老大哥发起了挑战,发布了震撼世界的广告片《1984》,打破枷锁,打破牢笼,构建新秩序。三十年之后,这家公司已经成为行业的巨人,他们开创了一个时代,重新定义了手机。三十年,时代在变,角色已变,他们从 0 变成 1,从人变成神,也从颠覆者变成了专制者,变成了当年他们颠覆的对象——新的“老大哥”。
这家公司就是苹果。
苹果的成功是时代的成功,是封闭的闭环模式的成功。伟大的乔布斯在产业链闭环模式下,创造了极致的用户体验,成就了苹果的时代,但在封闭的模式下,苹果日益霸道、专制,成为了今天庞大的帝国。
在苹果的封闭的体系中,所有的应用开发者、用户,都必须是他的顺民,都必须遵循他苛刻的规则。苹果,已成为“封闭”的代名词。开发者在苹果模式下,创新变得艰难无比,同样,苹果自己的创新源泉也在慢慢枯竭,帝国黄昏已现,只不过能够看到未来的人只是少数。
苹果依然是当下最伟大的公司,但其模式已经扼制了创新,阻碍行业的发展,在长远来看,一定会伤害用户的利益,只不过现在用户还未明显地感知,因为被目前闭环带来的极致体验所掩盖。苹果的封闭违背了互联网开放、自由、分享的精神,一个扼杀创新,扼杀自由,扼杀开放的商业模式,终将被时代替代。
封闭扼杀创新
苹果的成功得益封闭的闭环模式,将硬件、系统、应用、服务完全一体化,闭环模式的优势是可以将以上各个环节发挥到极致。
苹果的封闭闭环模式,决定了只有其自有服务和应用才能很好的与系统、硬件结合,而大量第三方应用在苛刻的规则下显得创新不足。苹果对第三方应用的反用户的条款已成为行业共识,第三方 APP 连自由定价权都没有,只能按照苹果的几个价格档定,被强制使用苹果支付与用户体系。此外,审核原则的不透明、低效反馈让无数开发者深感之痛,很多开发者一年内更新安卓数十个版本,苹果上只能更新几个版本,这是反市场和反用户的行为。
而对于中国苹果手机用户来说,最突出的痛点莫过于无法拦截骚扰电话和垃圾短信,苹果完全可以在产品上实现这点,但在今天庞大的帝国中,用户的声音已经不能让苹果有所改变。很多中国公司在这方面尝试的创新产品,却被苹果强制下架。事实上,还有大量类似的创新被摒弃被扼杀。
苹果越来越远离用户,正是因为封闭,他们的创新动力正在衰竭。90 后的前卫消费者已经不再以使用 iPhone 来提高身份感,他们是互联网原住民,流淌着互联网开放、自由、分享的血液。他们经常说,你可以对我的生活指指点点,但不可以指点我的生活。这就是 90 后,他们已经开始对苹果封闭的产品、蛮横的定价、乏陈的设计感到厌烦,他们不会再逆来顺受。下一代的移动互联网不需要专制者。
APP 信息孤岛割裂连接
苹果开创了智能手机 APP 化模式,APP 的出现,确实在手机智能化初期,为用户提供了比较好的服务,但是苹果 APP 模式造成的信息孤岛,其弊端正逐步显现,已经成为移动互联网服务体验进一步改善的瓶颈。目前苹果 APP Store 的应用已达 121 万,安卓应用更是高达 143 万。大量的用户需求,需要匹配大量的 APP,用户大量的时间在寻找 APP、登录 APP、切换 APP 的过程中无形消逝。
实际上,随着硬件性能的提升,去 APP 化正成为可能。从 PC 的发展历史看,客户端逐步被浏览器取代,已经证明去 APP 是大势所趋,未来的 APP 应该在高度整合的系统中,随着用户的个性化数据而改变,让手机更懂用户,让内容寻找用户。我们认为,下一代移动互联网的核心基因一定是开放、自由、分享,第一要全面开放,封闭是反互联网发展趋势的,第二是服务、应用、系统的全面云化,第三、去 APP 化,打破孤岛,让服务寻找用户。这才是未来方向。
苹果的封闭模式已不能代表下一代移动互联网的需要,必须需要被改变,乐视愿意探索。
所以,我们来了,我们想试试。
打破边界 生态化反
安卓的出现,打破了封闭,但目前的安卓手机,只是妥协的产品,互联网内容及应用、UI、硬件的分割状态,导致创新只能是局部创新,创新壁垒的存在使得目前的安卓手机鲜见极致的体验和功能。
我们基于安卓的开放,结合乐视生态“平台+内容+终端+应用”的垂直整合能力,打破硬件边界、UI 边界、内容边界、应用边界,打破整个产业链中的创新边界,打破内部的组织边界,让生态产生强大的化学聚变反应,形成开放的闭环,给用户创造极致体验的同时,也向所有第三方开发者史无前例的开放所有权。
这一点,已经在超级电视上得到了证明。超级电视让电视行业跨越智能时代,直接步入生态时代。而乐视做超级手机,充分发挥产业链垂直整合的优势,把互联网内容、服务、软件、硬件,充分整合,以最好的硬件为基础,极致的 UI 为交互中枢,把乐视自有的优质内容、服务充分整合,打破 APP 的限制,让用户随着意识的流转,随心随意的操控手机。
我们希望更多的优质应用加入乐视生态,融入 EUI,共同打破更多 APP 的信息孤岛。这是我们想做的,也是我们正在做的。
开放闭环才是未来
乔布斯是精英时代最后一个偶像,少数精英闭门造车打造的产品,即使再极致,少数人的智慧,也无法与民智匹敌。智慧在民间,高手在民间,我们始终坚信这一点。所以,我们秉承 CP2C 模式,让用户全流程参与到每一个环节,“千万人不满,千万人参与,千万人研发,千万人使用,千万人传播”,我们坚信,千万人的共同创新,才符合互联网开放的精神。

而今,我们再致苹果,这也肯定会被认为是疯子或者造势。我们想说,时代在变,角色已变,精神不变。只有时代的模式,没有永恒的模式。今天,我们秉持着当年苹果颠覆巨人的精神,向苹果这位今天的老大哥发起挑战,希望能够打破手机领域要么封闭、要么体验差的魔咒。当大家看到苹果的“太平盛世”时,我们看到他的危机;当大家在谈论危机时,我们要探寻出路。

开放是大势所趋,封闭在未来不可能取得成功。保证极致的体验,需要闭环的化学反应。
所以,开放的闭环才是未来的方向。

Open letter to Apple: Opensystem in the new age for connectivity
In 1984, an emerging company presented itself as the disrupter andinnovator of its own time. It broke free the limits and constructed new ordersfrom scratch. 30 years later, this company has transformed into a multinationalcorporation. They redefined mobile phones. From zero to one, it has become thenew industry leader.
This company is Apple.
Apple’s story is the success of a closed system. Steve Jobs wasable to create the Apple Era with one-of-its-kind user experience. His modelhowever, locks users and forces them to buy into Apple’s products. Thispractice of generating profits has made Apple to where they are today.
Within Apple’s closed system, all app developersand users need to play by their rules. The Apple today is synonymous with“closed system”. Innovation under Apple’s model is difficult for developers. Atthe same time, Apple is slowing down with its own innovation.
Apple is still a great company. However, itsmodel inhibits innovation and development. In the long run, it will affect theinterests of users. It will not be long when consumers discover the limitationsof Apple’s system. We believe that a business model that kills innovation andfreedom is bound to collapse.
Closedsystem kills innovation
The advantage of Apple’s seamless integration isthat software can be designed according to the highest performance level of thehardware, which can play the full strength of the hardware.
However, third-party applications will havedifficulties to innovate on such terms. For instance, third-party applicationsare not allow to set price for its own products. Payment must be made throughApple’s system with a registered account. Additionally, there is notransparency in its app review procedures. Compared to the third-partyapplications on Android system, applications on Apple’s system can only beupdated a few times every year. Such restrictions are detrimental for themarket and consumers.
For Apple users in China, the biggest problem isApple’s inability to block spam calls and emails. Many Chinese companies havetried to create innovate products to solve this problem on Apple’s platform;however, Apple has restricted the usage of their products.
Apple is no longer focused on its users. Theirability to innovate is diminishing due to its closed nature. We have seen that millennialare no longer interested in using iPhones. They prefer services that are open,free, and social. They have started to get tired of Apple’s products, pricingand its design. We believe that soon, they will no longer be interested in theproducts that come from a closed system.
Isolating nature of Apps Information System
Apple led the smartphone industry onto anapp-reliant path, which did offer quality services to users at the beginningstage of smartphone development. However, the information system of APPs isstarting to reveal its enclosed nature. There are countless phone apps nowadaysincluding 1.21 million apps in APP Store and 1.43 million for the Androidsystem. And yet the increasing need from customers will require an even biggerAPP Store. When the customers have to sift through the countless apps on theirphone screen to find the one they need, it will prove to be an unpleasantexperience.
As a matter of fact, getting rid of apps becomes possible as thequality of hardware improves. The fact that Internet browser has successfullyreplaced client applications proves that getting rid of Apps can and will bedone. The future of apps should be found in a highly integrated system. Itshould allow for personalization based on user data. Smart devices will have abetter understanding of users and provide tailored content.
We believe that the new age for connectivityshould be in the form of open, free and social. First, this model should befully open. Second, it has a comprehensive cloud-based service. Third, itremoves dependency on apps, allowing services to find users. This will be theway forward.
Apple’s closed system can no longer serve the newage for connectivity. This needs to be changed.
That’s why we are here to take a shot at it.
Breaking boundaries with the Letv ecosystem
Android is based on an open system. However, mostof Android phones compromise the functionalities of the OS. The fact thatonline content, apps, UI and hardware are developed independently means thatinnovation can only happen in one area. This barrier to innovation leads to alack of apps that provide ultimate user experience or brand new features.
We are adding the “platform + content + device +application” vertical integration to Android’s open system. This will dissolvethe barriers to innovation. In the new eraof connectivity, the business model that provides a revolutionary userexperience will be in the form of an ecosystem. It will also providefirst-of-its-kind ownership model for third-party applications.
Thismodel has been proven effective by the success of our Super TVs. It is a product that led the TV industry into anera of ecosystem. The smartphone made by Letv will represent the advantages ofvertical integration to the fullest, combining the internet content, onlineservices, software, and hardware. On its side are the best hardware andexcellent UI as pivot communications. It also combines Letv’s own qualitycontents and services, breaking free of the app limitations. This allows thecustomers to easily navigate through the content on their smartphones.
We are an open system and we welcome more andmore great apps to join Letv’s ecosystem. Together we can eliminate isolatedinformation created by individual apps. This is our goal and this is what weare trying to do.
Open System is the Future
Steve Jobs is the last idol during the Elite Era.These elites work behind closed doors to create products by sourcing wisdomfrom few individuals, and this wisdom cannot be matched with the crowd. Wealways believe that wisdom comes from the crowd, experts found among the crowd.Therefore, we uphold the CP2C model (consumer-planning-to-consumer), " crowd participation,crowd R&D, crowd adoption and crowd marketing ". We firmly believethat co-creation with the crowd, is in line with the spirit of openness.
Apple’s model no longer works in the era ofconnectivity. When we made this comment 3 years ago at the Super TV launch,everyone was in disbelief. In 2013, before the release of Le Super TV, we wrotean open letter to Samsung. Many people ridiculed us. As a matter of fact,thousands of Le fans, using Super TV, Weibo, forums, and emails as channels,provided us with valuable suggestions and feedback. We analyzed the big data ofuser behavior to better serve our users. These all contributed to the top salesin our TV sets, exceeding the sales of Samsung TV and other foreign brands. Letvthus became China’s No.1 smart TV brand.
Today, we are writing an open letter to Apple. It might seem as aridiculous action. We believe that time and role might be changing, but thespirit stays. No model is everlasting. Today, with the spirit of a disruptor,we are calling on the dominant players, hoping to disrupt the closed system forsmartphones. When everyone thinks Apple is in its heydays, we see its crisis.When people start buzzing about the crisis, we’ve worked a way out.
Only when 99% of people are in doubt of the ideacan we truly achieve disruption.
Closed system will notsurvive the new era. To ensure the ultimate user experience, an open system isthe future.
Le SuperPhone will soon be launched. This is notonly a smart phone, but also a whole mobile Internet ecosystem.
