Tiffany: Good heavens! You are so annoying, Max.

Max: I know, isn’t it hilarious? Did you know the word “annoy” comes from an Old French word? I learned that when I was in France.

Tiffany: No, I didn’t know that and I don’t care. Look, you need to stop botheringme or else I’ll report you.

Max: Seriously, Tiff? Come on, you wouldn’t do that.

Tiffany: Yes, seriously. You act like you know everything, and that makes people feel upset.

Max: Oh, I’m sorry Tiffany. I never knew I was that much of a bother. At leastyou told me before I got in trouble. Is there anything I can do to apologize?
