上海世博会城市最佳实践区布展装修正式启动
上海世博会组织者表示，将坚决贯彻胡锦涛总书记考察上海世博会园区时的重要讲话精神，落实胡锦涛总书记关于进一步做好上海世博会筹办工作的“六个确保”的要求，激励所有世博参与者继续发扬不怕疲劳、连续作战的作风，高标准、高质量、高效率地完成各项建设和布展工作。目前，城市最佳实践区的场馆建设工作已基本完成，到今年3月底，参展城市的布展装修工程将全部完成，4月份开始投入试运营。
城市最佳实践区是上海世博会的一大创举，首次给予城市独立参展世博会的机会。城市最佳实践区在世博园区中有15公顷左右的展区，包括四个展示领域，分别是宜居家园、可持续的城市化、历史遗产保护和利用、建成环境的科技创新。同时以三种展示方式进行体现，包括位于城市最佳实践区北部模拟街区的实物建设案例；位于中部、由四组厂房改造成展馆的展馆展示案例；位于南部案例报告厅内，以报告、研讨、多媒体、网络、展板、活动和表演等方式展现的其他案例。与此同时，还有两个由组织者建造的项目，分别是主题馆之一的城市未来馆和新能源项目。

The UBPA is divided into four exhibition fields - Livable Cities, Sustainable Urbanization, Protection and Utilization of Historical Heritages and Technological Innovation in Built Environment.
It covers 15.12 hectares and is in the Puxi area of the Expo site.
