The major change from the original to the new film is a change from control to near-chaos.In the Baker's case,it doesn't take long to realize that the chaos arises from their lack of disciplining their children.While this may not be realistic (surely anyone planning to have a family this large would realize that discipline and control would be necessary to not have one's home destroyed),it does lead to a lot of comic situations,and that's really the point here.Yes,there is a message in the end about putting family first,but what director Shawn Levy really wants you to do is laugh.My wife and I laughed quite a bit while watching the film,so Levy accomplished his goal with us.My only slight complaint on this end was that some of the funniest material involved the eldest Baker daughter's boyfriend,Hank (Ashton Kutcher),and he just wasn't in the film enough.The material about the Shenk's,neighbors of the Baker's,was also funny and a bit underused.This was the reason for lowering my score 1 point.

The rest of the cast is good,although like the original Cheaper By The Dozen,we barely get to know some of the children,but that's understandable when we have to deal with 14 characters as well as ancillary characters.Steve Martin was excellent,as always (I enjoy his work in even his less popularly appreciated films),and although Hilary Duff (as daughter Lorraine Baker) seemed a bit odd in the context of the family,I enjoyed her performance a lot,also.There's something about her that I like,and it's not just her looks.

Though she is starving she won’t forget to give some food to them. You might think this is hard for other people, but Sara did it very well. Her goodness and her headmaster’s villainy become an obvious contrast. The book has great influence on me. When I have difficulties, I always think of Sara and I will have courage to solve the difficulties and sometimes some ideas will come to my mind as if Sara had helped me.

What does the word “goodness” mean? The explanation in the dictionary is: the state or quality of being good. What Sara has done not only represents goodness, but also shows that the author upholds good things and hopes that the world will be full of goodness and love. And then what about the real life in the world? Of course there is goodness and villainy. Goodness? Good things are done by historic persons and great people; as a negligible person, it has nothing to do with me! If you have this kind of opinion of doing goodness, you are totally wrong. First of all, nowadays, our society carries out the so-called one- child- policy, in the consideration of their children, many parents always teach the children that protect yourself first, consequently, day after day, children become somewhat selfish that leads to the fact that fewer people can do goodness as Sara does.

Urbanization also plays an important part. 一开始,我刚刚开始读《小王子》时,并没有看懂太多,甚至觉得很幼稚,就像普通的一本童话,过了四年级,就不喜欢看了.可是,慢慢的,我开始接受这本书,我发现他不仅仅只是童话这么简单.故事中的小王子对生活抱着认真的态度,他疏通火山口,拔猴面包树的幼苗.可是小王子是孤独的,在他心情低落的时候,他会提着凳子追着太阳看日落.他曾一天看了四十三次日落,因为他心里充满了无尽的孤独和忧伤.一次,一朵玫瑰进入了她的生活,玫瑰有着沉静的柔情,她在谎言被揭穿后会反复咳嗽,她是一朵美丽而且非常骄傲的花.她非常喜欢小王子,小王子也真诚地爱着玫瑰.然而一件小事最终却使他们分开,敏感的小王子因为玫瑰的一次恼怒而对爱生起怀疑,他离开了自己的星星,抛下了玫瑰,开始了自己孤单的旅行.

小王子曾到过不同的星球,那些星球上住着不同的人和物.比如追逐权威的国王,比如为了躲避醉酒而喝酒的酒鬼,比如占有星星的商人,比如拒绝旅行的地理学家和忙碌的点灯人.但是小王子不喜欢他们的生活,他一路上只是感觉到大人的怪异和不可理喻.

后来,小王子来到了地球.他在地球驯养了一只小狐狸.经历了一些事后,小王子在狐狸那里学会了爱,认识到了他所要追求的东西,于是他决定去找玫瑰花.最后,小狐狸告诉王子,实质性的东西眼睛是看不到的.可是,小王子发现他并不能回到自己的星球,于是他天天痛苦的思念着那棵玫瑰,象星星倾诉心声,但仍旧摆脱不了痛苦,最终,他用毒蛇结束了自己的生命,他以为这样就可以回到自己的星球.小王子就像一棵树一样轻轻倒了下去,柔软的沙地,连一点声音也没有……

我们终究还是不知道小王子到底有没有回到自己的星球.我明白了小狐狸临走前对小王子说的话,眼睛是看不到任何东西的,唯有用心去感受.小王子对玫瑰花的爱和责任令我感动,他并没有盲目的羡慕别人的生活,那不是他想要的,最终,他可以为玫瑰花去死.
