Most people don't make Zongji by themselves,but some families in the country sides still make their own Zongzi.To make Zongzi,you first need polished glutinous rice,special leaves which are only for Zongzi,red and green beans,sorghum,jujube and purple rice which only were made in China.Step one is to clean all the food materials you needed and put them in the water for a whole afternoon,the leaves need to be put in the water for one day in order in be softened.After preparing,you first take two piece of leaves,fold them,and make them in to a conical shape from the centre middle of the leaves.Put a jujube in the two leaves,then put the rices which were mixed earlier before.Pull the top of the two leaves down to the bottom to cover the underside of the conical,then use ropes to tie them up.At last,you need to put the well-done Zongzi into a high pressure cooker,add water till the water cover the very top of every single Zongzi.Turn the fire to big to make them processed,then turn the fire to middle for one and half an hour,do not open the valve while cooking,and wait for a few hours,then the Zongzi will be nicely done for your meal.
