Summery:

The research is about the relationship between nitrogen ( P2O5, K2O 75kg / hm2) and maize growth as well as yield, on the chernozem (a kind of black soil contains calcium) area of QianAn County, Jilin Province. The results indicate that within the experimental amount of fertilizer, the relationship between nitrogen and both LAI (leaf area index), tassel length of corn are within a quadratic equation, and it exists a maximum. On the other hand, the relationship between nitrogen and both of the kernel weight, hundred-grain weight are within a cubic equation. Additionally, except for both of the hundred-grain weight and LAI, the other indicators are significantly or highly significantly correlation. The result also shows that, when fertilized in 180kg/hm2 with nitrogen, the yield, hundred-grain weight and tassel length reaches the maximum respectively.
