学习英语方法

Having been studying for five years of English, I have felt that learning English is both interesting and mysterious; you will never know what you will learn next. Experiences accumulate with the growing age; I’d like to share some of my ways of learning English.

So far, I have read six among the Harry Potter series, The Secret Garden, The Little Prince, Pollyanna, Animal Farm, Heidi and the like. So I suggest reading some novels.

Fourth, read after the tape. This is the way that many people don’t know, but I do. I often read after the tape when I have time. I have studied Family Album, U. S. A. and read after its tapes.

Fifth, practice your English when you have the chance. ‘Practice,’ says a proverb ‘makes perfect.’ Usually, I don’t have much time to practice, so I go to the English Corner every Sunday. At first, you probably can’t speak very well, but I believe after your practice, you can speak fluently. One thing you have to bear in mind: be brave, don’t afraid or scared to talk.

Sixth, writing diaries can help you a lot. It is very interesting because you can read the diaries you have written and recall the past. I write diaries everyday for I think writing diaries can help you review some of the sentence structures, vocabularies and also grammars.

Last but not least, a kind of way which most native English speaker does: the acquisition. It is a way of learning English naturally. For example, there are many signs which are written in English and Chinese. When you can’t understand some of the words, you can write it down and look for it in the dictionary after you get home.

There is a saying goes,‘The best knowledge is the knowledge about ways of learning. Therefore, I think these ways to learn English are the best knowledge and I am happy that I have acquired it. I believe that if I keeping working hard with these ways, I would arrive at success, this destination
