第一轮面试一般是5-7个人一个小组,进去以后每个人做自我介绍（时间30s到2m不等）.自我介绍完了以后,教授一般会抛出一个问题,给你们小组自由讨论,这个时间可能是10几分钟,教授是不会参与的.他觉得你们讨论得差不多了,就会终止讨论,有可能会请你们中的某一个人总结你们刚才所有人的发言.最后教授有可能会给你们自由提问时间,让学生向教授提出想了解的问题.整个面试大概是20m到半小时左右.

如果你在第一轮面试中表现得比较有争议（两个教授打分悬殊太大,或者一个坚持要录另一个坚持不录）,或者成绩很优秀需要谈奖学金的事情,又或者你的表现很保守但是你的高考分数很高,教授想多给你一点机会,那么你就有机会参加第二轮面试了.
