Without having ever tasted human flesh, Mr Thomlinson researched accounts of cannibalism - including by 1920s New York Times journalist William Seabrook who had persuaded a medical student to give him a chunk of flesh from a man who had died in an accident.虽然从来没尝过人肉，但托姆林森先生调查了食人族的资料——其中包括20世纪20年代《纽约时报》记者威廉·西布鲁克记录的故事，他曾说服一名医科学生从死于事故的亡者身上取下一大块人肉给他。
